On Location & Care is a photographically fixated two person exhibition featuring the works of Emmaline Norborg Carter and Stephanie Cuyubama Kong.
Their works navigate space and identity and how they functionally intertwine.
Formative functions that allot for critical experiences to one’s character – a connection to place and space acts as a catalyst to the developments. How does belonging to and being from create notions of ourselves. The act of looking enacts both the individual and collective narrative to a person and place. With a navigation of cultural, familial, and individual understandings comes a formulation to dually grasp and comprehend identity on these ranging levels.
